I am inspired to paint modern botanicals that surface both from my imagination and found objects to document memory and evoke a sense of place.

My illustrations flow between being considered and contained, to playful and spontaneous. Images take on a life of their own when I paint layers of watercolour on velvety absorbent paper. From fantastical florals and cooling sappy greens to whimsical interpretations of nature, it gives me so much pleasure in being able to share them with you.
